The winner of this prize will partake in a mini photoshoot with Bia, shot entirely on 35mm film. The architecture and textures of East LA will serve as the backdrop. The photoshoot will span 1-2 hours and 1 roll of film, which is about 35 images. The winner will receive a download link to digital scans of the film about 1-2 days after the shoot is complete.
Bia Jurema (biajurema.com // @biuh) is a queer Brazilian director, editor, and photographer based in Los Angeles, specializing in music, branded, and commercial content.
